White seamless sweep
Paper rolled off a stand, replaced when it scuffs. Clean white starts with a clean surface, not with a retouching shortcut.
About Lumeva · Brooklyn, NY
Lumeva is a one-room product photography studio on Prospect Park West. We exist because too many good products are being sold with bad photographs, and because hiring someone to fix that shouldn't require a flight, a retainer, or a mystery quote.
Why the studio exists
Most of the brands we hear from have already done the hard part. They found a factory, argued over a glaze, waited out a shipping delay. Then they photographed the result on a bed next to a window and wondered why the listing didn't convert.
Agencies price that problem like a ten-person commercial shoot. Freelancers disappear into a queue. So we built the studio around one simple move: the product comes to the light, and you direct from wherever you are.
You mail the samples. We unpack them on camera, set the sweep, and put you on live video while we move the lamp until it looks right to you. Then we retouch, size, and send the files. The whole thing is priced per project, and the price is on the website.
That's the entire company. We'd rather do that one thing well than pretend to be a creative partner for every brand on earth.
What we'll argue for
Shoppers zoom before they pay. A stitch, a glaze pool, a thread count: the macro frame is what makes the $90 version feel fair.
A photo that wins the click and loses the return is a bad photo. We match your sample under a gray card and stop there.
A shoot you direct over video is a shoot you actually controlled. Fewer meetings, tighter feedback, no travel line on the invoice.
If a studio won't tell you the number before the call, you already know how the invoice will go.
On the bench
No gear flex. Just the few tools that decide whether your photo matches your product.
Paper rolled off a stand, replaced when it scuffs. Clean white starts with a clean surface, not with a retouching shortcut.

Every set starts with a reference frame. If your label is rust, it ships as rust and not salmon.
Hard shadows for texture, wide wrap for glass, a bounce card for the label side. Simple setups, repeated well.
You see what the camera sees. Ask for the angle, ask for a bigger prop, ask us to move it left. It happens while you watch.
We log the condition on arrival and again on departure, then send everything back to you.
Hold the product up to the camera. We'll tell you which package fits, what props we'd pull, and the exact price. Packages run from $300 for a Retouch Rescue to $1,480 for a Full Drop.
